How did this much-celebrated hidden gem come to be? In 1992 and just down the street from where he and his wife raised the family, European Chalet family visionary Joseph Kapusciarz first acquired the location that is now European Chalet Banquets-one of the finest banquets facilities. As the rest of the family joined in, through a lot of laughter, sweat and tears, we built what was to become the best banquet facility around.

To a person, we are all involved in every facet of the business, yet each family member has a specialty, too. Joseph is king of quality control; the food doesn’t leave the kitchen unless it meets his extremely high standards. Maria, both mom and wife, makes certain that the kitchen and banquet rooms are spotless and shining. Theresa, the oldest daughter, manages each party with the precision of a Swiss clock while making guests feel right at home. John, who likes to introduce himself as the SOB (son of the boss) is responsible for sales and everything else office related, ensuring that our day-to-day activities run smoothly. Irene pitches in as a bartender and manager, while the youngest, Mark, ensures all the finer details are tended to.
